BRZRKR #1 Delayed Another Month As BOOM! Realizes It Doesn’t Have Enough Variant Covers

The first issue of BRZRKR, the BOOM! Studios comic “co-written” by Keanu Reeves and Matt Kindt was originally set to release in October 2020. Then artist Alessandro Vitti was replaced by Ron Garney and the book was delayed until February 24, 2021. And the book has been delayed yet again.

BOOM! Studios sent the following message to retailers: “due to high demand, and to ensure that the printer is able to maintain Boom’s high level of quality, the on-sale date for all editions of BRZRKR #1 including foil variants, has changed to March 24.”

But the delay is likely due to the fact that the publisher realized there were only 36 variant covers for the first issue. Surely the publisher could release more, especially when issues are on eBay for $6,500 already.
