When Disney announced the name of their streaming service, they also confirmed that one of the series coming to Disney+ would be one based on Loki, the god of mischief from the movies. The series is still a ways off, but we now know of one more actor that will be joining the cast of the series: Richard E. Grant.
Grant himself revealed this bit of news on his social media, though he did not identify what character he will play:

Genre fans might recognize Grant from his role in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker as General Pryde… but this will not be his first foray into a Marvel related movie. Grant played one of the baddies in 2017’s Logan movie, Dr. Zander Rice. While that did not take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we now have the concept of the multiverse in the movies, so who knows. He didn’t want mutants in his universe either.
Here’s the synopsis of the Loki series:
In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Kate Herron directs and Michael Waldron is head writer. Coming 2021.
There was a tiny peek at the series in the Big Game Spot back in February.
