Harley Quinn’s future is up in the air, given the TV series move from DC Universe to HBO Max. Renewal negotiations for a third season are dependent on a new budget for the series. The negotiations have stalled by the major executive shake-up at the network that saw senior leaders Bob Greenblatt and Kevin Reilly pushed out and oversight of the platform given to HBO’s Casey Bloys.
With the closure of DC Universe, the original remaining programming will move to HBO Max.
Harley Quinn debuted on DC Universe in November 2019 and the second season released in April 2020. Both seasons released on HBO Max in August.
Harley Quinn stars Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Diedrich Bader, Alan Tudyk, Rahul Kohli, Christopher Meloni, Tony Hale, Ron Funches, Wanda Sykes, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Giancarlo Esposito, Jason Alexander, and J.B. Smoove.
