Back in March 2019, Netflix announced a bunch of anime series coming to the streaming giant. Among those was another videogame property, a little less known than Castlevania or The Witcher: Dragon’s Dogma. No, not Dragon’s Lair (which is planned to be a live-action feature from Netlfix), Dragon’s Dogma. Dragon’s Dogma was an action RPG game by Capcom originally released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. Anyway, so it was announced last year, many folks missed it, and now we have a date for when it will stream: September 17, 2020.
Netflix summarizes the series with:
The story follows a man’s journey seeking revenge on a dragon who stole his heart. On his way, the man is brought back to life as an ‘Arisen’. An action adventure about a man challenged by demons who represent the seven deadly sins of humans.
The anime will be produced by Sublimation Inc. and David Production and is being directed by Shin’ya Sugai.
