The Power Rangers Return To Comics With ‘Mighty Morphin’

Oh, you thought they were gone from the comics scene didn’t you?! Well, even though BOOM! Studios ended their Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers and appears to be ending their Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comics, those multi-color suited heroes will make a return… or two. BOOM! announced the first of two titles, beginning what they are calling the “Unlimited Power” era. The first title is simply titled Mighty Morphin, and is written by Ryan Parrott who wrote for the previous Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mini-series; with art by Italian artist Marco Renna.

Here is how BOOM! describes the upcoming series:

A new Mighty Morphin team has assembled to take on the deadliest threats to Earth – but who is the All New Green Ranger by their side?

The new Mighty Morphin team is on a collision course with an even deadlier Lord Zedd, who has a new mission and a new motivation – one that will change everything you thought you knew about our heroes! But even if the Mighty Morphin team can find a way to survive Zedd and their mysterious new enemies, they may discover the greatest threat to their future is the shocking secret of Zordon’s past! A new Mighty Morphin epic begins here, perfect for longtime fans and new readers alike.

Mighty Morphin declares it’s morphin time this November.
