Warner Bros. is reportedly ready to resume filming on The Batman in September. Instead of relying on location-based shooting, as was the situation pre-pandemic, the film will now shoot solely on studio lots. Ahead of September, the lots will be built.
Reporter Kris Tapley took to Twitter to break the news.
While most Batman movies were filmed on locations, Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman was filmed on studio sets.
The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and stars Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Colin Ferrell, John Turturro, Peter Sarsrgaard, and Jayme Lawson.
