‘Black Widow’ Film Pulled From Release Schedule Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic And Theater Closings

According to several entertainment sites, Marvel‘s first blockbuster of 2020 and the first film of its “phase four” Black Widow, is being pulled off of its scheduled release date of May 1. This is the second Marvel related film being put into limbo in 2020, the first being the oft-delayed New Mutants. It is unknown when Black Widow will have her solo film on screens, as a new release date was not determined.

The delay is the latest due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Several theater chains such as AMC and Regal have also announced that they would be closing down for now, so as to not be outlets for the disease to spread.
