‘The Boys’ Is Back With A New Comic Series

The Boys, stars of their very own Amazon Prime series, also were the stars of their own comic series from 2006-2012. It seems that the folks at Amazon liked The Boys enough that they renewed the live-action series for a second season before the first even debuted. It looks like the production of the show may have sparked the interest of co-creator Garth Ennis again as well, as he is returning for a new series in that universe with The Boys: Dear Becky.

Dear Becky will start out 12 years after the end of the original series, then go back and feature more about Becky Butcher, who only appeared in two issues, but had an over-sized influence to her brief role.

Writer Garth Ennis will be joined by artist Russ Braun on the new series. Original series co-creator Darick Robertson will do the covers for the Dear Becky series. New The Boys will hit the shelves in April, before the mid year start of the show’s second season, possibly fueling further seasons of the show…
