Disney+ released a new trailer for the final season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series yesterday. For those who won’t be satisfied with just 12 more episode of the cartoon, IDW has something that might help ease your pain.
As an offshoot of their anthology series, Star Wars Adventures, the company will publish stories focused on the Clone Wars event and characters titled Star Wars Adventures: The Clone Wars – Battle Tales. The mini-series will run for five issues throughout the month of April. The title will be written by Michael Moreci and each issue will have a framing sequence by Derek Charm, with the characters telling battle tales, while being pinned down. The tales themselves will be drawn by different artists: Arianna Florean, Megan Levens, Valentina Pinto, Davide Tinto, and Philip Murphy. Covers for the five issues will be drawn by Charm, and the first issue will have a variant cover by Michael Avon Oeming. Star Wars Adventures: The Clone Wars – Battle Tales #1 will storm comic book shelves April 1st. No fooling.
