The hype for Godzilla vs. Kong is coming. If articles by me haven’t been doing it for you, then Warner Bros. themselves look to finally be starting the train. At CCXP during a panel promoting the various films in 2020 the company is releasing, we got our first look at the battle of the King of the Monsters and foolish challenger.
This news comes on the heels of said fool delaying the fight for several months after Warner Bros. found out the giant ape was taking enhancers to even the odds (which it won’t) in this one-sided brawl. Hopefully, that damn cheating ape doesn’t do any more reckless cheating to delay this much sought fight.
So here’s one of two images shown at the panel (I’m not going to post the first because nobody wants to see the damn cheating loser who’s caused the fight to be pushed back). As always….
Yes, Godzilla and Kong are fighting on top of an aircraft carrier. Given the size of Godzilla in this year’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters yes, this doesn’t make much sense. But this sort of ridiculousness is sort of a given in this franchise.
Also aircraft carrier riding isn’t the first time one has seen this in Godzilla media. Take Godzilla: Half Century War #5:
It is so ridiculous the movie MIGHT JUST WORK. Godzilla vs. Kong will throw-down in theaters on
March November 20, 2020.
