Marvel’s Animated ‘Tigra & Dazzler Show’ Hit With Giant Hairball In Production

Back in February, and months before Jeph Loeb was reported to be leaving his role at Marvel Television, it was announced that Marvel would produce four animated series for Hulu. One of the series was Marvel’s Tigra & Dazzler Show, which was described as being about:

“… two woke Super Heroes and best friends, Tigra and Dazzler, fight for recognition among powered people who make up the eight million stories in Los Angeles.”

Well, put that concert on hold. It looks like the showrunner for Tigra & Dazzler, Erica Rivinoja, as well as the show’s entire writing staff, have parted ways with the production. The report cites “creative differences” as the reason for the split. The production itself was said to be 15 weeks into its 20 week schedule. However, unlike the live-action Ghost Rider show that was aiming for Hulu, Marvel is said to “remain committed” to Tigra & Dazzler.

If they decide to cancel the show, it may impact the rest of the announced series (M.O.D.O.K., Hit Monkey, and Howard the Duck) since they all are to dovetail into a special animated event titled Marvel’s The Offenders. We’ll see if they can get things back on track…
