We’re finally getting a glimpse of the first Marvel movie post Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Though rumored for a long time, the solo Black Widow film was finally confirmed at this past Summer’s San Diego Comic-Con. Scarlett Johansson will be reprising her role as the Black Widow, and will be joined by some new-to-film characters from the comics including Yelena (aka. the other Black Widow) played by Florence Pugh, and Alexi (aka. Red Guardian) played by David Harbour.
A mere six months away, today marks the first time that the public (that is, not people who attended events like D23) will get to spy Marvel’s next movie:
Marvel also released a teaser poster for the film:
Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe starts on May 1, 2020, when Black Widow hits theaters.
