Batman/Catwoman Delayed As Tom King Attempts Character Defining Run

Batman/Catwoman was set to release in January, but was absent from DC’s solicitations. Writer Tom King tweeted an explanation as to why the series was delayed. He’s attempting to pull a Frank Miller and do a defining run on the character.

Dark Knight Returns was a four-issue mini-series written and drawn by Miller and inked by Klaus Janson. King is right in that DKR didn’t have any delays, but Batman/Catwoman is planned to be three times the length of DKR, leaving much greater room for error.

Hopefully King and artist Clay Mann get multiple issues in the can before the next solicitation.
