Daily Bugle & ‘Avengers Of The Wastelands’ Limited Series Delivered In January 2020

Marvel is announcing two more limited series arriving in January 2020. The first is about the exciting world of print journalism and one of Marvel New York’s most famous superheroes in: Amazing Spider-Man: Daily Bugle. Here’s how Marvel describes the 5-issue limited series:

Coming in January, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN: DAILY BUGLE will give readers an inside look at the ever-exciting world of investigative journalism as Robbie Robertson follows a lead into Spider-Man and Kingpin’s past. And like any great news story, the series will have revelations that will change the way you view Spidey forever as Robbie discovers a secret that will affect anyone who’s ever come into contact with the Web-Slinger.

In a city under Mayor Wilson Fisk, keeping the public informed is as essential as it is dangerous. Spanning five issues and tackling events from Nick Spencer’s current run on AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, this tale will be chock full of twists and turns as The Daily Bugle team uncovers a deadly truth…

Amazing Spider-Man: Daily Bugle will be written by Mat Johnson, with art by Mack Chater, and covers by Mark Bagley.

Marvel will also be returning to the world of Old Man Logan, this time without the “Old Man” as part of the title. This time, it will feature a team: The Avengers. This version is a bit different though as Marvel says:

In a world where most Super Heroes fell at the hands of the Red Skull over 50 years ago, Dani Cage wields the mighty Mjolnir for the cause of peace. But when the brutal regime of Doctor Doom forces Dwight (AKA the owner of the surviving Ant-Man technology) to Dani and the Hulk in a last ditch effort to survive, the Avengers have the chance to assemble once more!

Avengers of the Wastelands will be a 4-issue limited series written by Ed Brisson, with art by Jonas Scharf.
