DC knows what you want, and it is more Harley Quinn! Yes, the character recently joined the Birds of Prey in the comics, had a team-up series with Poison Ivy, and had a Black Label series focused on her. PLUS she will be getting her own animated series on DC Universe in November and will star in the Birds of Prey movie. But that’s not all! Coming out the same month as the Birds of Prey movie is a new comic mini-series: Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey.
Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti will be returning to be the creative team on the new mini-series, after their long and defining run on the Harley Quinn solo comic. Here’s how DC describes the upcoming series:
With Harley finally done with The Joker, she’s moving forward with her life (as only she can) until she’s beset by a rogue’s gallery of Gotham City’s worst villains, the target of a $10,000,000 bounty placed on her head by the Clown Prince of Crime. It will take the help of Black Canary, Cassandra Cain (a.k.a. Batgirl), Renee Montoya, and the Huntress to help Harley and get to the bottom of why The Joker has turned Gotham’s worst loose on her.
Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey will run for four issues starting in February 2020. The 32-page title will retail for $5.99 an issue and will appear every other month. It’s part of the Black Label line, which is for readers 17 and older.
