Marvel To Begrudgingly Release Other Robert E. Howard Comics Again

Earlier this year, Marvel Comics started publishing Conan comics again including Conan The Barbarian, Savage Sword Of Conan, and Age Of Conan: Bêlit because nothing says he’s back like flooding the market. Conan appeared as a team member on The Avengers too.

The publisher isn’t content with only releasing Conan comics either because if you have one Robert E. Howard property, you have them all. Marvel is working on characters on such as Dark Agnes and Solomon Kane.

“Our readers cannot get enough of Conan, and luckily, we have plenty more to give them,” said Editor Mark Basso. “We’re very excited for readers and the heroes of the Marvel Universe to meet or reunite with more characters from the legendary Robert E. Howard mythos!”

While Conan The Barbarian #1 debuted to 100,000 copies, Conan The Barbarian #8 saw sales drop to 35,000.

Marvel previously published Conan comics including Conan The Barbarian from 1970 to 1993, Savage Sword Of Conan from 1974 to 1995, and King Conan from 1980 to 1989.
