‘Ms. Marvel’ Live-Action Series Reportedly In The Works

Last May Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige teased that a project starring Ms. Marvel (aka. Kamala Khan) was “definitely sort of, uh” in the works. At the time, it was thought that that meant a Ms. Marvel movie was incoming, but now The Hollywood Reporter is saying that a Ms. Marvel live-action series is in the works.

The series would stream on the upcoming Disney+ service. Marvel is said to be hiring the British writer Bisha K. Ali to write and run the show. We’ll see if anything is announced today at Disney’s D23 Expo, which has a Disney+ panel in the afternoon. The character has already been in several animated episodes of Marvel Rising voiced by Kathreen Khavari.
