On August 7, Marvel Comics Editor-In-Chief Akira Yoshida tweeted that fans who picked up Absolute Carnage #1 should look closely at their comic. At the time, we thought it was because Yoshida wanted people to make sure they weren’t accidentally buying Absolute Carnage #1.
But this week, Yoshida revealed that the reason to look closely was because there’s a chance that your issue contained one of 20 original sketches drawn by Mark Bagley.
While Bagley didn’t contribute to the issue, he did co-create Carnage in 1992, with writer David Michelinie.
Absolute Carnage #1, by Donny Cates, Ryan Stegman, JP Mayer, Frank Martin, and Clayton Cowles is available now.
