Earlier this Summer, Marvel confirmed their slate of Phase 4 movies, including the Kirby-powered Eternals movie. During the announcement, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also confirmed the cast of The Eternals, some of which were previously rumored to be in-talks for the film such as Angelina Jolie (Thena) and Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo).
Today, Variety is reporting that another actress is in talks to star in The Eternals: Gemma Chan. Chan appeared in another Marvel movie earlier this year, Captain Marvel, as Kree soldier Minn-Erva. It’s unconfirmed what role Chan would play in The Eternals, but “some sources” say that she will be playing a different character in the upcoming film, which is rare in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but makes some sense because it seems like her character met her demise in the film.
Well, we’ll see… The Eternals is scheduled to land in theaters November 6, 2020.
