The rumors of a 2020 sequel to 2018’s Halloween appears to be very true. Not only that but another film to be released in 2021 will cap off the franchise. The first, Halloween Kills will trick us on October 16th, 2020. Then on October 15th, 2021 the franchise will treat us to an apparent finale with Halloween Ends.
This was all revealed via a teaser promo via Jason Blum on Twitter.
And the people behind the franchise rebooter/renewer of slasher life, Jaime Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, writer Danny McBride, writer/director David Gordon Green, and of course John Carpenter himself all will be back for the two films. The later of course besides the performance of Curtis back as Strode and the score of Carpenter with his family really propelled the film into why it clicked with audiences.
Here’s to more Halloween!
