SDCC hasn’t even officially started, and NECA Toys is unloading Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles salvo after salvo at fans. Originally, just convention exclusives, NECA has expanded their TMNT line of figures into retail lines, and looks to expand greatly those lines.
The first is more two-packs are coming to Target stores based on the Classic 80s cartoon. So far shown have been Casey Jones, Foot Soldier (two-pack), April O’Neill, Road-Kill Rodney, and Metalhead. Slash, Leatherhead, Bebop, and Rocksteady were already shown off a few weeks prior (they’re currently in another display not pictured here).
The other is a two-pack line based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time video game (both the arcade and SNES port). So far the figures revealed for this wave (as revealed at NECA’s own online store) are Leo and Don all having a hover board accessory. Filling out the bad guys for the line are Slash (SNES) and Foot Soldier. A Shredder based on the arcade design was shown off a few weeks ago as well (probably wave 2).
