Storyboards, Marvel’s Travel Show Hosted By Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada, Has Little To Do With Marvel

If you weren’t sold yet on Disney+, have I got the show for you. What do you get when you combine Marvel Comics Chief Creative Officer, a travel show, and storytelling? Storyboards, a Marvel-branded documentary series that has fuck all to do with Marvel.

Storyboards is hosted by Marvel CCO Joe Quesada as he follows a guest to a destination focused on learning, not about the location, but about the guest.

“A comparison that everyone knows is Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown,” Quesada says. “We go on locations, but instead of food or culture being the focus, the focus is a guest, the way they tell stories, and their story.”

Debuting on Disney+, the first season of Storyboards will consist of 12 10-15 minute episodes. Guests include with Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman, Book of Mormon and Avenue Q songwriter Robert Lopez, Teen Vogue executive editor Samhita Mukhopadhyay, and Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir.

Disney+ launches November 12.
