Marvel Goes ‘Crazy’ One More Time

As MAD Magazine effectively folds, Marvel brings back one of its old satirical titles for a one-shot in September. Crazy Magazine was Marvel’s effort to publish a humor magazine in the style of MAD and Cracked, and ran from 1973 to 1983. The magazine debuted with Irving Nebbish as its mascot, but switched over to Obnoxio the Clown in 1980.

The new Crazy one-shot will be written by Gerry Dugan, Frank Tieri, Jon Adams, and others. Art for the title will be by Don Simpson, Scott Koblish, Jon Adams, and more. The main cover is by John McCrea and a variant cover will be available by David Nakayama.
