DC’s The Flash movie has hit some speed bumps. First director Seth Grahame-Smith left the film in 2016. Then director Rick Famuyiwa left the movie later in 2016. Now it’s 2019 and co-directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have left the movie.
Because DC has had such a horrible time getting the movie made, the company has tapped Andy Muschietti, the director behind the horror films It and It: Chapter Two.
The studio also won’t go forward with the script that star Ezra Miller wrote with Grant Morrison. Instead, Christina Hodson will pen a new script. Hodson’s credits include Bumblebee and Birds of Prey.
DC is hoping to get the movie started in January 2020.
