Anthony Mackie worked for years in Hollywood appearing in films like 8 Mile, Million Dollar Baby, and The Man as a character named Booty, before landing the dream of any actor: a Disney contract as The Falcon in Marvel’s movies.
While Chris Evans’ Marvel movie contract was only initially for six movies and Sam Jackson’s was for nine movies, Mackie’s original contract for a whopping ten movies. He’s appeared in six so far: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
His deal might’ve changed though, as Mackie is reprising his role as The Falcon in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, a live-action series on Disney+, alongside Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier.
Marvel’s Phase 4 plans won’t be announced until after Spider-Man: Far From Home releases next week, so we’ll have to wait to see what else Mackie will be appearing in.
