While on a press junket for the re-release of Avengers: Endgame in theaters with new DLC, Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige was asked about the addition of Keanu Reeves into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“We talk to him for almost every film we make,” Feige laughed. “We talk to Keanu Reeves about. I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”
Feige compared Reeves to Jake Gyllenhaal, who is playing Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home, saying that they were in talks multiple times until the right role came up.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to release July 2, 2019. The re-release of Avengers: Endgame is June 28, 2019.
