The Jurassic Park world is being expanded, but this time it’s on the small screen. DreamWorks Animation has announced an animated series titled Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous set to release on Netflix in 2020.
The animated series will follow a group of six teenagers chosen to attend a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar. Then, the dinosaurs wreak havoc across the island, leaving the campers stranded. In order to survive, they have to come together and learn to trust each other fast.
Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Colin Trevorrow are executive producing alongside showrunners Scott Kreamer (Pinky Malinky) and Lane Lueras (Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny)
