IDW Media Holdings, the parent company of IDW Publishing, has announced the creation of a new publishing venture, Clover Press, from co-founders Ted Adams and Robbie Robbins. Clover Press will “focus on the book market and direct-to-consumer prestige format publications as a new, progressive, eclectic, boutique publisher.”
“Ted and Robbie created a special company when they launched IDW 20 years ago, and we are grateful for their contributions throughout the years,” said Howard Jonas, IDW Media Holdings’ Chairman and CEO. “Their creativity and savvy will drive the success of Clover Press, and we look forward to working with them on this new initiative.”
Clover Press’ first slate of titles will be announced this summer.
IDW has had many an executive shakeup over the past year, which saw President and Publisher Greg Goldstein resign due to a sexual harassment case. His departure saw the return of Chris Ryall to the company as President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, following a brief stint at Skybound. In July 2018, Adams took a sabbatical from IDW, until his recent return.
