Realizing No One Wants A Tom King Ongoing, DC Gives Him Mini-Series

Earlier this week, DC Comics admitted that they were pulling Tom King off the main Batman title after issue 85. The publisher also added that there were future projects in the works with the writer.

Following the completion of the City Of Bane arc in Batman #85, the main title will return to a monthly schedule instead of bi-monthly, putting it in line with the rest of the Bat-titles (Detective Comics, Catwoman, Nightwing, and Batgirl).

King’s new project will be Batman/Catwoman, a 12 issue mini-series that will presumably be page after page of Batman thinking about all the ways Catwoman could die. Joining King on the new snuff fantasy series is Clay Mann on art.

DC has yet to announce a new creative team for the main Batman title
