Realizing, Jim Carrey Can’t Carry Entire Movie Alone For Fear of Back Pain; ‘Sonic’ Director Confirms 2020 Delay!

So it looks like seven months aren’t enough for the new FX work that’ll be done on the Sonic the Hedgehog film after the disastrous first trailer was revealed. The movie’s director, Jeff Fowler, revealed today via Twitter that the film has now been pushed back an additional two months to February 14, 2020 to get “things right”.

We all know the truth is that actor Jim Carrey (who also stars in the movie as Doctor Robotnik) has been having horrible back issues due to carrying the film via his portrayal alone. This new change appears to make sure things will be evened out when Sonic is released where it’ll go up against the Kingsman prequel.
