Marvel Stops ‘The Unstoppable Wasp’ In July

They did it once before but she returned, but Marvel is once again ending the run of The Unstoppable Wasp. Unstoppable Wasp writer Jeremy Whitley announced the title’s ending in a tweet thread about his time on the comic:

The Unstoppable Wasp volume 2 will conclude in July with issue #10. According to Whitley, this was a planned conclusion to the Wasp’s story, though he did want to do more. Nadia Pym (aka. The Unstoppable Wasp) will continue to appear in The Champions comic so fans will still get to see the character. Whitley did encourage fans to buy the rest of the single issues, the trades,  to write reviews on book sites, and to recommend the title to others. After all, Nadia means “hope”, so maybe one day the title will come back again.

Here’s the solicitation for the book’s final issue:

It’s the final showdown between G.I.R.L. and A.I.M., and only one team of super-scientists can come out on top! But what dark secret do the agents of A.I.M. know about Nadia’s past? And once it comes to light, will anything ever be the same again?

32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99

As for Whitley, he has a new, non-Wasp related project coming up, which will be announced tomorrow:
