Marvel Teases Some July Titles Including ‘X-Men’ and 2 ‘War Of The Realms’ Spin-Offs

While we got the announcement of a new direction for the X-Men by Jonathan Hickman during C2E2, not much was revealed about the new titles, House of X and Powers of X. Marvel has started teasing some of its titles coming out in July and included in that tease is a short synopsis of the new X-titles.  Unfortunately it’s not much more than a brief tease and you’ll not get much more than the broad concept of the titles (basically one sentence descriptions) and some cover images:

House of X #1:

Since the release of UNCANNY X-MEN #1, there have been four seminal moments in the history of the X-Men. GIANT-SIZE X-MEN. X-MEN. AGE OF APOCALYPSE. NEW X-MEN. Four iconic series that introduced a new era for Marvel’s mutants and revolutionized the X-Men. In HOUSE OF X, Charles Xavier reveals his master plan for mutantkind…one that will bring mutants out of the shadow of mankind and into the light once more.

Also, in addition to the previously announced Valkyrie series, more series are spinning out of the The War of the Realms event: Loki and Punisher Kill Krew. Warning, there is a SPOILER for the just-started The War of the Realms event in the Loki desciption.

Loki #1:

After dying a grisly death in WAR OF THE REALMS, Loki learned a valuable lesson in warmongering: Don’t get caught. But now he has a whole new set of responsibilities—and his brother Thor is not about to let him walk away from them this time.

Hmm. Will the Punisher title have a skrully presence as well? Guess we’ll find out in July.

There are a few more titles teased in the article, but the ones above are the #1s. We all know how much people love #1s.
