With Justice League vs. the Fatal Five getting released this week, that means we’ve got our next DC Animated Movie to start talking about, Batman: Hush. The animated movie will more than likely be a “loose” adaptation of the Jeph Loeb/Jim Lee story since this particular version will take place in the “New 52” DC Animated verse (all the Batman ones usually have five different stories adapted into them resulting in
mess movie). The voice casting was revealed via IGN.
Jason O’Mara as Batman, Sean Maher as Nightwing, Stuart Allan as Robin (Damian Wayne), Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Rebecca Romijn as Lois Lane, James Garrett as Alfred. and Rainn Wilson as Lex Luthor all reprising their roles from previous DC New 52 animated fair.
Rounding out the cast will be Jennifer Morrison as Selina Kyle, Bruce Thomas as Commissioner Gordon, Vanessa Williams as Amanda Waller(reprising her role from the R-Rated Suicide Squad animated movie from last year), Geoffrey Arend as Riddler, Jason Spisak as the Joker, Adam Gifford as Bane (who never was in any of the Hush stories so who knows what else they’re adapting here), Dachie Alessio as Lady Shiva (weird this character and her subplot are included with the Ra’s/Talia portion of the story appearing to be exercised out), Peyton List playing both Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) and Poison Ivy, and Maury Sterling as Thomas Elliot/Hush.
Here’s also the first picture from the animated movie (again courtesy of IGN):
Batman: Hush will arrive on digital, DVD, and Blu-Ray sometime this summer.
