Warner Bros. Studio Chief Kevin Tsujihara Steps Down

Following the revelation that he pushed for an actress he was having a sexual relationship with to get movie roles, Warner Bros. Studio Chief Kevin Tsujihara has stepped down from the position he’s held since 2013.

“It is in the best interest of WarnerMedia, Warner Bros., our employees and our partners for Kevin to step down as Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros.,” said WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey on Monday. The executive did not name a replacement for Tsujihara.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news March 6 that Tsujihara was in a relationship with actress Charlotte Kirk and pushed for her to get movie roles. She appeared in two Warner Bros. films: 2016’s How to Be Single and 2018’s Ocean’s 8.

No replacement for Tsujihara has been named yet.
