Silver Surfer Is Back In Black

The Silver Surfer was last seen being sucked into a black hole (along with other characters) in the most recent Guardian of the Galaxy comic. Well, in comics, you know being pulled into a singularity often doesn’t mean you’ll never see that character again, and that seems to be the case for the Surfer as he’ll be back in a new mini-series titled Silver Surfer: Black.

No real detail has been revealed about Silver Surfer: Black, though editor Darren Shan revealed that seeing more of the Surfer was always the plan. Though nothing has been detailed about the mini, it does look like the Surfer has changed since we last saw him, as he now sports a black Aquaman hand on the cover of the first issue. Donny Cates will be writing the mini, with Tradd Moore on art. The mini-series starts in June.
