Bat-Cowabunga! First Trailer For ‘Batman Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’

Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) have been crossing over since the first Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic back in 2015. That produced a follow up in 2017, and a Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures mini-series. It’s not over for these crossovers though, as a third Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic mini-series is on its way this Summer and before that, a Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated movie is on its way for home viewing.

Today, the first trailer for that animated movie has arrived, and it’s… Well, it’s… what the hell happened to Donatello and Leonardo?!

“… the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tracking Shredder to Gotham City, where the villain teams up with Ra’s al Ghul and other members of the Dark Knight’s rogues’ gallery to enact a mysterious plot.”

Troy Baker will be voicing both Batman and the Joker in the movie. Helping Batman out will be Robin (Ben Giroux), Batgirl (Rachel Bloom), Alfred (Brian George), and Commissioner Gordon (Jim Meskimen). We’ll see the usual “brothers” on the Turtles’ side: Raphael (Darren Criss), Michelangelo (Kyle Mooney), Donatello (Baron Vaughn), and Leonardo (Eric Bauza). Besides the Joker, on the bad guys’ side are Mr. Freeze (John DiMaggio), Harley Quinn (Tara Strong), Poison Ivy (also Tara Strong), Penguin (Tom Kenny), Bane (Carlos Alazraqui), Ra’s al Ghul (Cas Anvar), Baxter Stockman (Keith Ferguson), Two-Face (also Keith Ferguson), Scarecrow (Jim Meskimen again), and Shredder (Andrew Kishino).

Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be available via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on digital, 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, and Blu-ray Combo Pack this Spring.
