After releasing a new issue daily for 13 years, it was time to take a move out of The Big Two’s playbook and launch a reboot. With sales numbers stagnating and executives trying to squeeze every last penny out of a shrinking fanbase, the writing was on the wall. Editor-In-Chief Tim Midura rounded up all the remaining Outhousers and set out for greener (we’re talking money) pastures.
When reached for comment, DC co-Publisher Dan Didio said, “I was extremely pleased when I heard The Outhouse shut down. We threw a party at the offices. But, it turns out they were just rebooting. Should’ve saved that pizza party money.”
Comicspit has some big things in the works, so stay tuned.
